HOW MUCH DOES FLIGHT TRAINING COST?
Flight training requires you to learn new knowledge and a skill set that is like nothing you’ve ever done before. Everyone learns at a different rate therefore it’s not a simple set price but the average person can plan to spend around $9500 for their private pilot certificate.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
The FAA has prescribed minimums on flight time to achieve a private pilot certificate. It can take as little as 3 months or as long as several years. It’s really up to you and your level of commitment. The average timing for someone who commits to flight training 2 days a week can get it done in a realistic 6 months or less. On the other hand, it’s definitely not recommended but if you only train one day a month your training would likely be strung out over a much longer timeframe.
